Live experiment: iZotope Assistant
Meet the iZotope Assistant, an “audio-aware” AI collaborator inside Tonal Balance Control 3 – your guide for every mix. iZotope Assistant listens to your track, offers real-time mix feedback, and handles EQ adjustments across your session – all based on your text prompts. Step into the lab and start talking to your mix.
Note: iZotope Assistant is available to a randomly selected pilot group of iZotope Pro subscribers. Access is limited – if there aren’t available seats, you’ll be added to a waitlist and notified once new space frees up.
Your second set of ears
The iZotope Assistant doesn't just process audio – it listens to it. By combining our tech with a modern LLM, iZotope Assistant acts as a seasoned sounding board in your studio. Get detailed, real-time feedback on tonal balance, dynamics, and loudness to help you understand the exact nuances of your mix.
Talk to your tools
Turn complex mix decisions into a helpful chat. Prompt the Assistant in your own words to make hands-on EQ adjustments across compatible plugins like Neutron and Ozone. It’s an entirely new way to stretch across your session and reach your sonic vision, directly from Tonal Balance Control 3.
Tweak with ease
Don’t just set and forget your mix decisions. Continuously iterate and fine-tune the Assistant's EQ adjustments all through your conversation with the iZotope Assistant. Tweak and refine the results until you hear exactly what you want, ensuring you stay in complete creative control from start to finish.

FAQ
Are the features/tools in iZotope Labs going to be released someday?
Some of them might be released, some of them might not. This is primarily a place for our users to test things out and give us feedback.
I'm a perpetual customer, why can't I access iZotope Labs?
iZotope Labs is currently a perk for iZotope subscribers, but you can still be part of our broader beta team and test future iZotope products. If you’re interested, you can submit an application here.
I’m an iZotope Plus subscriber, why can’t I access some iZotope Labs Experiments?
Access depends on whether your tier includes the base product hosting the Experiment. iZotope Assistant, for example, is hosted in Tonal Balance Control 3, which is exclusive to iZotope Pro subscribers.
