Help us improve your experience
At iZotope, our goal is to build tools that remove technical barriers so you can focus on staying in your creative flow.
To do that, we need to understand how our software performs in the real world. By opting in to share anonymized usage data, you directly help us fix bugs, design better interfaces, and build the next generation of audio tools.
We understand that with the emergence of AI, creative artists are increasingly protective of their data, their creative processes, and their audio. We are too. As proud supporters of the Principles for Music Creation with AI, we want to be completely transparent about what we collect, what we don't collect, and how your data is used.
How your privacy is protected
- We do not collect, listen to, or upload your audio files or samples.
- We won't train AI on your music without your permission. Your private audio isn’t used to train our machine learning models.
- You are always in control. Opt out at any time with a single click in the preferences of iZotope’s Product Portal or the options menu of any iZotope software, typically accessed via a gear icon in the top-right corner.
What we collect and why
- System data: Operating system, computer type, and crash logs.
- Interaction data: Which tools or features are being used, interface clicks, and general navigation within the software.
How we use this data
We use this information strictly for statistical analysis to improve the software's stability, fix bugs, and guide our design decisions to make better plugins for everyone.
How we protect it
Wherever possible, usage data is collected in an aggregate, anonymized form without identifying you individually. For customer order review purposes, IP addresses and session IDs may be tracked in relation to your initial purchase and download. This anonymized data may be sent to a secure Native Instruments USA web server or trusted third-party cloud service to help us understand how users engage with our products and what to improve on.
How to opt out
- From Product Portal: Navigate to Options > Preferences in Product Portal and deselect the checkbox under Usage Data.
- From iZotope plug-ins/apps: Navigate to the option menu, typically accessed via a gear icon on the top-right corner of the interface.
Thank you
Thank you for trusting us with your sound, and for helping us build better tools for the audio community.

The Software allows you the choice to opt out of sharing, if you do not wish to provide Native Instruments USA with such Usage Information. At any time you may change your status relative to the sharing of Usage Information by navigating to “Options” > “Preferences” within the iZotope Product Portal application and deselecting the checkbox under “Usage Data”.
