LESSON 1
Learn the Basics of EQ
These exercises are designed for you to better understand the power of EQ in mastering and to better apply these EQ techniques into your own mastering projects.
To start, we review some common words in the EQ vocabulary along with some listening examples to familiarize ourselves with each terminology. Finally, test your EQ skills with 3 problem-solving exercises based on real-world scenarios. By the end of these exercises, you will have a more innate understanding of the subtle yet powerful way EQ can elevate your mastering.

LESSON 2
Learn the Basics of Compression
Compression is crucial in the mastering stage. These exercises are designed for you to better understand the function of compression in mastering and how you can use compressors to get better results in your mastering workflow.
To start, we review some common compression terminology along with some listening examples to familiarize ourselves with each terminology. Then, test your listening skills with compression problem-solving exercises. By the end of this lesson, you will be able to identify compression and the best ways to use it in your mastering sessions.

Learn the Basics of Limiting
Limiting is considered to be the most essential step in mastering. Being the final step in your mastering chain, these exercises are designed for you to better understand the function of limiting in mastering and how you can use limiting to keep your maximum level at a point where it never exceeds zero, preventing you from getting into distortion.
To start, we review some common limiting terminology along with some listening examples to familiarize ourselves with each terminology. Then, test your listening skills with limiting problem-solving exercises. By the end of this lesson, you will be able to identify limiting and how to use it in mastering.
