Creating multiple mixes to satisfy individual network loudness requirements used to be a laborious, time-intensive chore—until now. The Loudness module in RX quickly makes any mix compliant with the latest international network standards.
Now you can export and deliver broadcast-ready mixes with ease in virtually no time at all.
Simply enter the desired True Peak and LKFS values, and click Process. The module will indicate what the loudness measurements are for your audio (integrated, shorterm, momentary, range loudness, and true peak). You can then select a preset or set a desired target Integrated Loudness and True Peak value for the program audio.
Available in RX Advanced, Insight allows you to visually monitor all relevant information from your mono, stereo, or surround mix in a convenient floating window. Load Insight into your favorite audio or video editing software to keep an eye as well as an ear on your mix at all times.
For additional time-saving functionality, you can batch process multiple mixes for loudness compliance. In the Loudness module, set your desired LUFS and True Peak levels, then save the preset. Select File, then Batch Processing. Drag and drop your audio files, then add your Loudness preset to the Processing steps chain. For multiple batches with different loudness requirements, note that additional batches can be added with different presets.
Conforming to LKFS, True Peak, and Short Term level requirements used to mean keeping your eyes glued to the loudness meter. iZotope’s offline loudness plug-in RX Loudness Control removes the need to constantly watch the meters. Focus on what’s really important: the sound of your mix.
