In May, iZotope asked the readers of our newsletter to send in their best screenshot of RX's Spectrogram Display in action. Thank you to everyone who entered. This screen shot is taken from a sound I used in my dissertation project at the University of Cincinnati entitled "The Cardiac Dance-The Spirals of Life." It is a drone whose timbre is based on two sine waves making a figure-eight. The drone's frequency changes according to the helical shape of the heart."
