Uninstalling iZotope products

Windows:

Close all running applications. Enter your Windows Control Panel screen, and select "Uninstall a program" from the Programs category.

In the next window, locate your iZotope software in the list. Right-click it and choose "Uninstall."

OS X:

Close all running applications. You can then uninstall iZotope software by using an uninstall script that is provided in the following location:

(Macintosh HD)/Library/Application Support/iZotope/ *iZotope Product*

The script is in the root-level Application Support folder, and not in the User-level Application Support folder.

Please note: The uninstallers for RX Plug-in Pack, Ozone 6 and Ozone 7 are located in the following location:

(Macintosh HD)//Applications/*iZotope Product*

Please note: Older products such as iDrum, The T-Pain Effect, Nectar Elements, and any legacy version of a product (RX 2, Ozone 4, Alloy 1, etc.) can be uninstalled using the following method:

  • Run the installer for the product. If you need to redownload the installer, you can do so by logging into your iZotope account, and then navigating to the 'Legacy Downloads' page
  • When you get to the 'Installation Type' screen, choose 'Uninstall' from the menu, and proceed
