Why is RX Final Mix being discontinued?

Our latest mixing plug-in, Neutron, represents our latest technological advancements in processing and workflow, and addresses both music and post production. Rather than re-working our RX Final Mix code, we needed more freedom to develop next-generation technologies within a modern codebase. Between the new features and enhanced DSP, we believe Neutron deserved to become its own product line.

Will Neutron do the same things RX Final Mix can?

We took great care in making sure our RX Final Mix customers were considered in the making of Neutron, and have folded its functionality into Neutron and Neutron Advanced. We appreciate you choosing RX Final Mix, and we hope you’ll love Neutron, too.

What features are included in Neutron?

Neutron includes RX Final Mix presets, Dynamic EQ, True Peak Limiter, Surround Support (Neutron Advanced) and additional post-friendly features. We’ve outlined those areas of cross-compatibility below.

Final Mix Cross-Compatibility with Neutron and Neutron Advanced
