iZotope Releases Free Universal Binary and X64 Vinyl Plug In
Added support for Vinyl
Cambridge, MA – iZotope has released a new version of its free record player simulator, Vinyl. The updated version includes support for the latest operating systems and host applications.
Updates for Vinyl include:Â
- Universal Binary for Intel-based Mac computersÂ
- X64 support for 64-bit host applications under WindowsÂ
- Pro Tools 7 support
Vinyl is the product of extensive research in analog modeling techniques. It simulates the sound characteristics of a record player, and allows the user to control and automate wear, dust, scratches, warp, mechanical noise, electrical noise, and the year of the record player.
