The 89th Academy Awards show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air live on February 26th. Every year the movie buffs at iZotope can’t wait to hear who in the audio post world and music industry will be considered for the most coveted award in film.

This year’s award season has already been very generous to the hit musical La La Land and the Oscars are certainly no exception. After all, it’s the only film to receive nominations in all four sound and music categories this year! The sound crew who worked on the sci fi blockbuster Arrival have a lot to celebrate about too—they’re also in the running for both sound categories.

Will La La Land take home all four awards? Will Arrival dominate the sound awards? Will the mixing Jedi from Skywalker Sound score one for Rogue One? Will Lin-Manuel Miranda find himself closer to EGOTing? You’ll just have to watch the show to find out—or check back on this post for an update on the winners.
