The TEC Awards are one of the music technology industry’s highest honors, recognizing technical and creative innovation in over 20 different categories. Presented at the annual NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, the event celebrates “the best in professional audio and sound production,” including presentations of the revered Les Paul Award and inductions into the TEC Hall of Fame.
Nominations for the NAMM TEC Awards come from a panel of pro audio and music industry professionals who carefully review products in each category. This year, iZotope has garnered four separate nominations for products released over the past year:
RX 5 - Signal Processing Software (Dynamics/EQ/Utilities)
Ozone 7 Advanced - Signal Processing Software (Dynamics/EQ/Utilities)
VocalSynth - Signal Processing Software (Effects)
Pro Audio Essentials - Audio Education Technology
These recent honors complement nine other TEC Award nominations and five wins for iZotope since 2009:
2016 | RX 4 - Signal Processing Software (Dynamics/EQ/Utilities) | WINNER
2016 | Iris 2 - Musical Instrument Technology: Software | WINNER
2015 | RX 3 - Signal Processing Software (Dynamics/EQ/Utilities) | WINNER
2014 | Insight - Ancillary Equipment | WINNER
2014 | Trash 2 - Signal Processing Software (Effects)
2013 | Alloy 2 - Signal Processing Software (Dynamics/EQ/Utilities)
2012 | Ozone 5 - Signal Processing Software (Dynamics/EQ/Utilities)
2012 | Iris - Musical Instrument Technology: Software
2009 | Ozone 4 - Signal Processing Technology: Software | WINNER
For us, the TEC Awards are meaningful because they're nominated and voted on by a community of customers and industry peers. Customer feedback is the one of the most important considerations in our product development process, and we rely on it to help shape our product vision -- we want to make forward-looking tools that help people do the things they've always wanted to do. When we get nominations like these, we get excited because it shows we're on the right track.
