In this month's The New Audio Podcast, iZotope’s Community Manager Sean Greenhalgh and Product Specialist Geoff Manchester interview a pair rarely found in the wild together: a mix engineer and a mastering engineer. More specifically, Brooklyn producer/engineer Aaron Bastinielli (Noah Cyrus, Matt and Kim, The Roots, Bono, and The Hold Steady) and his mastering partner in crime, LA Mastering Engineer Michelle Mancini (Fitz and The Tantrums, Portugal. The Man, Fifth Harmony, Jessie J, and Noah Cyrus). These two have spent many years enhancing and finishing each other’s musical ideas, and here, Sean and Geoff chat with them about the careful conversations between mix and mastering engineers, achieving depth and dynamics in their work, as well as how male engineers might be allies to female engineers in audio production.

Alright audience, kick back, relax and be whisked away to the magical world of The New Audio Podcast.
