Having CD Burning Problems?
If your CD-R(W) drive is not recognized by PhotonTV, your blank
CD-R(W) discs are not recognized, or you are unable to burn a VCD
successfully, follow these steps:
1. Check PhotonTV Version
The current version of PhotonTV is v1.0.310EN and v1.0.310END for
the demo. To find out which version you have:
- Start PhotonTV
- Press F2 (to open the options)
- The version number is located on the lower-left of the options
window.
If you do not have the most recent version, download the new version
of the demo from:
http://www.izotope.com/products/photo/photontv/tryphotontv.html
and contact photontv@izotope.com
to request a new version of the full version of PhotonTV. You can
install the newer version over the older version. There is no need
to uninstall.
2. Apply CD Burner Updates
Many times, errors with burning can be solved with driver
or firmware updates. Check your manufacturer's web site
or search for updates at the following sites. You will need to follow
the instructions specific to your drive. Be sure to restart after
installing any updates.
3. Contact Support
Send an email to photontv@izotope.com
and include:
- your CD burner make and model
- if you found a firmware update
- your PhotonTV version string
- your operating system version (Windows XP, Windows 98SE, Windows
2000, etc.)
- the exact error message you are receiving
Including this information will help us to provide you with faster
support.
