Does Spectron offset the audio by some delay time?
The Spectron Engine must process audio in blocks, and therefore it must insert a delay into Spectron's output. Many host applications will compensate for this delay if you enable "Delay compensation" in Spectron's General Options tab. You can also compensate for the delay manually after applying Spectron to your audio. To see the total delay Spectron is currently inserting into its output, see the General Options tab.

What's the current Spectron version?
You can make sure you have the most current version by opening the options screen in Spectron and checking the lower left corner. Visit the Spectron update page to get the latest version.

I've installed Spectron but I don't see it in my host application's plug-in list.
Some apps organize plug-ins into folders. In these cases, the plug-in will appear in a folder called "iZotope". So if you have a lot of plug-ins, be sure to check for "iZotope Spectron" as opposed to just "Spectron".
