The Tape 808 includes 407 samples taken from two 808s recorded into an Ampex 351 1/2" valve 2 track tape machine. Goldbaby  perfects the kit by putting the 808's through other vintage gear and recording them clean, then selecting only the best samples.

BIRCH KIT LITE

This great kit was recorded on a floating floor in a 615 square foot room and the samples were captured using a range of high end microphones (Neumann), Mic Pres, EQs and compressors (Universal Audio) for a great studio sound that will fit naturally into your tracks. 10 live-sounding patterns make this sample set an even more valuable addition to your iDrum library.One variation of the kit is included: with all microphones kept in the mix for a more natural sound. SOUL KIT

The base samples were recorded in 615 sq. ft of space with a 42 sq. ft floating floor solely for drums. An extensive list of world-class equipment was utilized, including the Universal Audio 610 tube microphone preamp and Neumann TLM 103 condenser mic. All recordings were made in ProTools at 24bit/44.1 KHz.

JAZZ KIT

This drum library was recorded at the finest studios with analog tape, you'd swear that you just put on an old jazz record as you bang on your keyboard. With multiple samples, the SLD Jazz Kit is so real your horn section could jam right along with your fingertips. All the samples were recorded on a Studer 24 track 2 inch machine using Quantegy GP9 analog tape. After being recorded they were then transfered into Digidesign® Protools|HD®at 24 bit and 96 kHz.

WORLD PERCUSSION

From India to Africa, these percussion instruments sound incredible as a solo instrument or as a grooving backing track.The Kanjira is a southern Indian frame drum that is rooted in classical Indian music. It is a member of the tambourine family and produces a very musical tone. The Tabla, also an Indian instrument, is comprised of two hand drums that each produce an extensive variety of sound. The Shekere is an African percussion instrument. It is essentially a dried gourd surrounded by a net of beads. It's tone is distinct and can be heard extensively on Afro-beat recordings made by Fela Kuti. The Doumbek (also know as Goblet Drum) is an ancient arabic percussion instrument. It has a very responsive drum head and produces a crisp, warm sound.
